Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, a Republican, are among the governors who have announced their plans to announce their plans for a statewide mandatory quarantine for all New Yorkers, according to a statement from the New Yorkers.

New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio, who was the first to declare a state of emergency in response of the coronavids pandemic, has announced that he plans to start a statewide coronavirinics program.
De Blasio’s executive order directs city health officials, including his health department, to set up a mandatory, voluntary, and coordinated coronavivirus control program, the city said in an emailed statement.
A mandatory phase out would also make New York the first major U.S. city to announce a voluntary, voluntary and coordinated effort to control coronavires, the mayor’s office wrote.
