Two more people have been confirmed to have been infected with the coronavirus in Illinois.
Authorities said the first case was a 38-year-old man from the northwest suburb of Aurora who was taken to a hospital after suffering a cough and respiratory symptoms on Thursday.
The second person is a 27-year old woman from Chicago who tested positive for the virus and went to the hospital on Friday.
The third case was identified on Saturday as a 65-year and one-time Illinois resident.
All three have since been discharged from the hospital.
The two other cases have been linked to a nursing home.
Illinois has recorded a total of 1,077 confirmed cases and more than 4,000 deaths as of Sunday.
The state reported a total loss of 1.4 million health care dollars in the past 24 hours.
