How much of your family will be vaccinated?
It depends on your family.
For more information, see the CDC website.
What about older children and teens?
Some people will not get vaccinated for flu, and if they do, they should wait at least 24 hours before getting vaccinated.
How do I get the influenza vaccine?
The flu vaccine is given every six weeks by a doctor.
This can be your doctor or your family doctor, but the most important thing to remember is that your doctor will give you the flu shot at the time of your vaccination.
You will receive a shot every six to eight weeks.
If you have more than six weeks between your vaccination and your shot, you may need to get another shot, which could be at a later date.
If your family member has a history of flu, they may need a booster shot, so be sure to check with your doctor about the best time for that.
Who should I ask about getting vaccinated?
If you are not getting vaccinated, the best advice is to ask your doctor for your vaccine schedule.
If there is a time difference, you should ask the doctor to tell you when you will be getting vaccinated in order to avoid any misunderstandings.
You may want to ask for your vaccination at your doctor’s office if you: have a family member or close friend who is also getting vaccinated (or has been vaccinated previously)
